Tweetdeck
VS

Ok so I have had my twitter account for a few months now but without an iPhone I felt a little let down by the experience, BUT today in lesson we spent the whole morning ‘learning’ how to use it properly…..
I started off on my Twitter account on the usual Twitter site…. this was no good! I was advised move to TweetDeck and it all became clear. Before I saw the posts… well simply as one dimensional posts but with Tweetdeck it became clear that there is a lot more to be gained and soon conversations and the exchanging of info started. As I added more and more of my class mates it became apparent what a great tool this could actually be! I also found that using a different app such as Tweetdeck makes searching for topics a whole lot easier and more relevant.
Although the interface is a tad dull to say the least I do have to thank Tweetdeck for showing me what Twitter had to offer. I still feel the more I play with it the more will be revealed to me. I would advise anyone who doesn’t ‘get’ Twitter to keep at it, although for something you seem to have to try so hard to get I am surprised anyone has stuck with it long enough to reap the benefits! I can now see myself becoming another Twitter addict…. watch this space!
*note* I was however a bit trigger happy with my refresh button and my allowance soon ran out which was pretty frustrating….. limit yourself!!

Ok so over the past few weeks I have just made a note of a few sites that I have been on that I have found particularly inspiring for one reason or anther… I will explain each one. So first up is
www.kylebean.co.uk
I really love everything about this website from the layout style to the content. I would really like to create something along these lines for my own ePortfolio, what I really like about this site is the simplicity and cleanness of the layout…. i LOVE straight lines…always have done so this site has obvious appeal. The site is for a guy called Kyle Bean who is a illustrator, designer and maker of “things” based in Brighton.
www.zuttoworld.com
I have recently started experimenting with vector art and found this website with some amazing illustrations. I also really like the use of typography and the childlike even innocent feel to the illustrations….Beautiful! It is created by a illustrator and graphic designer called Zutto from Moscow.
www.bloodsweatvector.com
This site is more of a reminder as a place of inspiration for more vector artwork, there are some really amazing images kicking around on this site and is well worth a look!
www.toxel.com
Is a fantastic design website that contains everything from product design to image manipulation, I could send forever on here. Whilst browsing I came across a section under inspiration on image manipulation by Tebe Interesno…. Amazingly Beautiful, have to, have to, have to check his images out. I picked out a few of my favourites…Sooooo cute!
